Sponsorship
Types of Sponsor Relationships 1) Relationship Based - Donation without real expectation
of a business return from it. 2) Product or Contra Service Deals - Spare product or services given cheaply
or free 3) Profile and Public Awareness - Some will have a significant target
market they wish to access – e.g. junior sports people, Over 50s etc. Some media exposure can be very
attractive. 4) Business to Business -
Some will want to get to key decision makers. Recruiting one or two key people can help get them on board in a big way. E.g. if mayor is willing to sit at a
corporate table & chat to other businesses. This can also lead to secondary
networking sponsorships.
