There has been some grumbling about the amount of
travel for North Island Masters and Veterans teams throughout the
An informal questionnaire to all Associations at the
beginning of the year resulted in a reasonably even split.
Once the 2007 draw was initially announced 3 teams
pulled out claiming that the travel was too much
As in previous surveys we need a 67% agreement for
any change to be made for Masters or Veterans.
This survey asks EACH TEAM to vote as to whether the
draw should be made from:
Option A:
Teams grouped by ability with Northern
Region and Central Region teams combined – the present situation

top group made up of teams from both Regions

Each team is to send in an email vote to rayw@clear.net.nz
showing:
~ the team name
~ the number of their team that vote for Option A
~ the number of their team that vote for Option B
~ the maximum votes per team will be based on the
numbers of players that actually played this year
~ each team is to vote separately – this is not an
Association vote
~ progress results will be hidden until a reasonable
number have replied
